Foxtrot Papa

Sometimes small changes can make all the difference....

Production and creative agency Foxtrot Papa approached Trifle in the summer of  2015 to ask us to help them enhance their existing office in Borough, London SE1.  The current work space had some lovely features including a parquet floor but wasn't providing the team at Foxtrot Papa with the space they needed to work in their most productive way.

Trifle created a solution almost entirely made of bespoke furniture pieces to work precisely with their requirements. 4 distinct breakout areas were created ranging from a meeting booth in the kitchen/cafe, large bespoke tables for agile working and a lounge style meeting space. Feature lighting from Heals (Cohen pendants) and Habitat (Marteau Copper pendant) was used to help zone these areas as well as adding some colour on the walls to create distinction. Chairs and stools were all from the 'About a ....' range from Hay.

Creative ways to work were encouraged with the use of writeable walls, paper rollers, clipboards and the classic Vitra Uten.Silo.

The boardroom was refreshed with olive green wool chairs and a bespoke pendant light. As well as adding the booth, the kitchen cafe was improved with all new lighting from Original BTC (Circus light), tiling and even improved waste solutions.

The reception included a freestanding wooden phone booth (see lead image - wallpaper London Toile by Timorous Beasties) as well as new lighting and furniture items to enable the team to use it as another working area. Bespoke bookcases and storage units were also produced to help create a coherent scheme throughout the space.

The result of the project was a space that the team at Foxtrot Papa could use more effectively, more fluidly and more creatively.
